While the interior has a modern feel and is sturdy, it does have a lot of hard plastics and lower-quality surfaces. If you need cargo space, look elsewhere, as the trunk is very small, and the rear seats are almost unusable. The infotainment system is easy to master and responds quickly to inputs.

The Mazda MX-5 Miata is a great option if you want a fun-to-drive and relatively affordable sports car. Drivers will enjoy the solid handling and fast acceleration.

The Miata’s 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine offers 181 horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque. It will take you from zero to 60 mph in less than six seconds. The engine comes with a six-speed manual transmission, but you can opt for a six-speed automatic.

The list of standard safety features is a bit short but includes a rearview camera, driver-attention monitoring, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking and automatic high-beam headlights.

The Genesis G70 boasts a competitive price, a cushioned ride and a luxurious interior. Its greatest asset is the way it drives, with a lithe and surefooted feel that settles for relaxed around-town cruising, and turbocharged engine options that provide plenty of power.

The base trim has a turbo-four engine, synthetic leather upholstery, heated front seats, Apple CarPlay, adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring. The cabin boasts comfortable seats and nice touches. The infotainment system is intuitive to use, with 10.25-inch touch screen that is user-friendly. The G70 earns praise for both its safety ratings and predicted reliability.

If you’re looking for a traditional muscle car with ludicrously powerful engines, look no further. It’s not a well-rounded vehicle, lacking refinement and agility, but it’s fast.

The Dodge Challenger seats five, and it’s one of the best in the class for passenger accommodations, with wide and comfortable front seats. The trunk measures 16.2 cubic feet, which is a lot of space for a sports car, though you do have to deal with the high bumper.

This offer is for the Challenger SXT, which has a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 303 horsepower. The cabin is a bit plain, and the standard touch-screen infotainment system only has a 7-inch display. Standard driver-assistance features are also in short supply.

The BRZ is agile on winding roads, with a stiff suspension that doesn’t compromise ride comfort. The interior feels a bit cramped, especially in the back, and cargo space is limited. The easy-to-use infotainment system has an 8-inch touch screen with well-placed buttons and knobs. The only standard driver-assistance feature is a rearview camera.

The Porsche Taycan should definitely be on your radar if you’re looking for an all-electric, performance-focused sports car. While it delivers a thrilling drive, with 321 horsepower and up to 254 pound-feet of torque, it does disappoint a bit in drive range and practicality.

This hatchback offers more cargo space than your typical sports car, with 23.3 cubic feet of cargo space behind its rear seats and roughly double that amount with the seats folded.

The standard turbo-four engine has plenty of power for your daily commute, though it’s not as sporty as some rivals. The cabin feels luxurious and has an easy-to-use infotainment system with a 10.25-inch touch screen. There’s a long list of standard driver-assistance features as well.

The Ford Mustang was redesigned for 2024 and offers a potent turbo-four in its base model, confident handling and a suave and high-tech interior. We found that it is a joy to drive both around town and on the highway, and the only drawback we noted is its cramped back seats.

Ford offers several engine options. The base turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder has 315 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. Inside the cabin, buyers will find an updated interior that shed the retro dashboard and offers a more modern aesthetic. The new infotainment system is user-friendly and there is a wealth of standard tech, safety and convenience features.

This offer is for the Ford Mustang EcoBoost Fastback model and expires on October 2.

The Audi TT serves well as a daily sports car rather than all-out performance machine, but it’s priced well compared to costlier rivals. This modern and upscale vehicle offers responsive handling, good fuel economy and a quality interior.

Buyers can select from either a coupe or convertible body style. The base turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engines has 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. While this horsepower rating pales in comparison to what you’ll find among other luxury sports cars, there is plenty of muscle to get this Audi moving.

The cabin offers upscale materials. There is no dedicated central infotainment touch screen. The fully digital instrument cluster that Audi calls the Virtual Cockpit also displays media, navigation and smartphone integration.

Less athletic than some rivals, the Jaguar F-Type is still a joy to drive, with a 5.0-liter V8 engine that makes 444 horsepower and takes this sports car from zero to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds.

The two-seat cabin can feel a bit cramped, but the materials are nice and there’s a long list of standard features. The coupe version offers a large trunk, while the convertible offers very little cargo space. We found the infotainment system to be subpar and in need of a redesign. Buyers will appreciate decent gas mileage for its class.
